Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital is bolstering its orthopedic care with the addition of Orthopedic Surgeon Kevin Koth, DO, and Advanced Practice Providers Rachel Benjamin, FNP-BC, and Jessica Cresswell Clay, FNP-C.
Alongside SBL Orthopedic Surgeon Joseph Ajdinovich, MD, Dr. Koth, Benjamin and Cresswell Clay offer quality, expansive care to the community.
“These new providers bring a wealth of experience that will further build upon the excellent care that Dr. Ajdinovich has offered to the community,” SBL Fayette County Hospital CEO Karen Dyer said. “We are thrilled to have them on our staff and expand access to quality care.”
Dr. Koth has practiced across southern Illinois over the last 13 years, including practicing at places like Harrisburg, Marion and the Metro East, among other places. He offers care across the orthopedic spectrum, including carpel tunnel surgery, fracture care and total joint replacements, among other things.
Benjamin has practiced with Dr. Koth over the last four and a half years, and has practiced across southern Illinois, including in Mt. Vernon, Salem and Highland, among other towns. She offers pre- and post-operation care, in-clinic pain injections and other orthopedic care.
Cresswell Clay has practiced as a gastrointestinal provider and as a director of surgical services in the Metro East for more than a decade. She practices as a first-assist to Dr. Koth during surgeries, and she will fill in as-needed in the clinic.
Dr. Ajdinovich will continue to practice at SBL Fayette County Hospital, offering services such as fracture care, joint preservation surgery and sports injury management.
These providers practice in the Physician Specialty Clinic, located on the second floor of the Health Center at 650 West Taylor St. in Vandalia.
Dr. Koth and Benjamin practice from 9 am to 4 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays in the clinic, and Dr. Ajdinovich practices in the clinic on Fridays from 8 to 11 am.
